Objects in Python
Within Python incarnations, arbitrary things are represented by objects. Objects reside within a Python incarnation and can represent things that are inside or outside the incarnation.
For example, within a Python incarnation, there could be an object to represent the text »Hello, world!«.
The Run-Time Model
The run-time model is used to describe what's happening during the execution of a program.
Objects are entities of the runtime model and not of the source code model.
The source code model is part of the runtime model, since the latter also describes the relationships of source code entities to run-time entities.
