Evaluations in Python 

The execution of a program is called evaluation  if the program is an expression.

The evaluation of an expression yields an object.

For example, the evaluation of the expression »Hello, world!« results in an object that represents the text »Hello, world!«.

The term “evaluation” belongs to the run-time model.
