No

1. <label> definition implies that it cannot be used outside of a list context, but in fact it can;
2. <epigraph> definition says that it can only appear at the start of a division, whereas it is actually a member of model.divWrapper.

    Here are some suggested rewordings.
    For <label> change "contains the label associated with an item in a list; in glossaries, marks the term being defined." to
    "contains any label or heading used to identify part of a text, typically but not exclusively in a list or glossary"

    For <epigraph> change "contains a quotation, anonymous or attributed, appearing at the start of a section or chapter, or on a title page." to
    "contains a quotation, anonymous or attributed, appearing at the start or end of a section or on a title page."

    (We may wish to revisit these after EEBO discussions of course)

    These look good to me. It seems that these changes should be made regardless of any EEBO discussions to bring the prose of the Guidelines in line with the element definitions.

    OK for the rewording.

    Agreed. A specific example might be labels on paragraphs? The epigraph rewording seems a bit clunky, but I've not got a better suggestion.

    Implemented rewordings at rev 9606. Added notes on use of <label> within chunks. Still need an example of a labelled para, so not closing ticket yet.

    I've sent Lou a couple of examples of labelled paras.

    At rev 9912 added nice example from Martin; modified CO to reference this possibility; changed content model of <lg> to permit <label> for consistency.
